Snap Chaps: Peacock Style in 1968 Vogue








A rare editorial about male fashion in Vogue magazine from 15 November 1968. It features aristocratic fashion photographers Patrick Lichfield and Alexis Waldeck on the Isle of Capri  taking photos of each other and sporting a perfect example of Peacock Style.








Momentary fashion is secondary.. Baron Alexis Gecmen-Waldeck wearing a tunic from Barratta.






In the same issue ,we can also see actors David Hemmings (above) and Leonard Whiting (who starred in Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet; below) modelling shirts made by Frejere.
